Adelaide Engineering has been supporting The Churchill Unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital for over a year and this June sees the official opening of the ‘Quiet Room’.
The Quiet Room will be officially opened on Tuesday 16th June at 1.00pm by Kevin Davies, captain of Bolton Wanderers football team.
The Churchill Unit is an Oncology unit providing cancer services to the Bolton community and surrounding areas including, Bury, Heywood and Rochdale. The Unit provides Oncology and Palliative Care, outpatient consultations, outpatient chemotherapy, a range of therapies, supportive care services and information resources.
Adelaide provides regular support to the unit, helping to raise funds to furnish the new ‘Quiet Room’ with cosy chairs and tables to make the area a relaxing environment for all.
Adelaide Engineering staff will be attending the opening and look forward to continuing our support and seeing The Churchill Unit and ‘Quiet Room’ grow and develop over the next few years.
