Church Hill Unit 'Quiet Room' opening a success!

Church Hill Unit 'Quite Room' opening a success!

By now you will be aware that Adelaide Engineering has been supporting The Churchill Unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital for over a year and the unit has finally opened its doors.

As sponsors for the unit we were invited to the official opening of their new 'Quiet Room' which has been built and furnished by local sponsors.

The Churchill unit is an Oncology unit providing cancer services to the Bolton community and surrounding areas. The unit provides Oncology and Palliative care, outpatient consultations and outpatient chemotherapy.

The room is a non clinical area where patients and their families can relax, and is also used for counselling sessions.

Owen Sharples and Dave Wood of Adelaide attended the grand opening on the 16th June 2009. It was officially opened by Kevin Davies, Captain of Bolton Wanderers Football Club.

Adelaide Engineering look forward to continuing our support and seeing The Churchill Unit and 'Quiet Room' grow and develop over the next few years.
