Over the last 6 months, Adelaide Engineering has continued to up-skill their workforce. All employees have undertaken training and as a result new jobs have been created. We are now in the process of investing in the latest technology required by the Industry. As Adelaide is operational 24/7, this is your chance to use us to develop your workforce.
We are all aware that we need to meet the standards set by industries. At Adelaide our aim is to meet the needs of employers too. Over the last 2 years, we have provided the facilities to allow training to take place on our premises, designed to demonstrate the positive contribution that training provides to increase productivity, flexibility and competitiveness.
Alongside this, we have not only allowed, but positively encouraged, training providers to use our facilities where national frameworks state that apprentices "MUST" complete a unit on CNC machinery in order to gain their qualification. This has enabled employers who do not have the necessary equipment on site to promote their apprentices, which in turn leads to further qualifications.
Apprenticeships are an alternative option to continuing your education in College, and here at Adelaide we are looking to recruit young people to continue their career in the workplace and achieve a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and a technical certificate (Industrial Environment Awareness). All training for a Level 2 qualification is carried out in house by experienced and qualified staff.
This qualification leaves you with excellent prospects of employment within an engineering company to complete your Level 3 apprenticeship. Once you qualify and hold a BTEC, there is clear evidence that your earnings can be boosted throughout your lifetime.
