Adelaide assist Graham Engineering to collaborate large fuel rod storage magazine

Customer: Graham Engineering Ltd is a precision manufacturer of high quality components and supplier of finished goods to a broad range of industry sectors
 
What was required: BNFL needed a collaboration on a large st/st fuel rod storage magazine.  They had experienced problems in the past maintaining the accuracy on a 5m x 300 x 300 st/st fabrication.  The structure was very flimsy and close tolerances had to be maintained both on fabrication and final machining.
 

Adelaide added value: Staff at Adelaide needed to put the magazines through its long bed 10m CNC Elgamill to the achieve the precision and desired result.  The machine has a calibration certificate and was operational 24hrs a day.
